As ever the Three Choirs Festival remains the highpoint of any choral festival year and this year it is the turn of Hereford Cathedral. The tour includes cathedral concerts on two evenings and an additional two daytime concerts on the Friday and Saturday.  Staying at the four star Abbey Hotel, Great Malvern which is an easy drive (21 miles/45 minutes) to Hereford.  Early dining on both concert evenings will be at the Green Dragon Hotel Hereford adjacent to the cathedral. The hotel and restaurant are under new ownership and provide good dining recently and a very comfortable lounge area to perhaps enjoy lunch or tea during the day whilst in Hereford.  An outline of the performances, programme and itinerary are as follows:

Thursday 31 July:  Check into the Abbey Hotel Great Malvern from 3 pm before meeting guests for dinner in the evening.  There will be a tour of Malvern Priory – which is adjacent to the hotel at 4 pm.
