Henley Royal Regatta,
viewed in great
style from the banks
of the Thames and
while cruising along
the famous Regatta
course from an elegant
riverboat. Arrival
is on Saturday evening
for a welcome reception
and dinner in the
4* Savill Court
Hotel, set in 22
acres of secluded
grounds on the edge
of Windsor Great
Park at Egham.
On Sunday you will
depart by executive
coach with your
guide for Henley-on-Thames
where you will enter
our reserved Hospitality
Enclosure to watch
the rowing at Fawley
Meadows. On arrival
a jazz band will
entertain you as
you enjoy morning
coffee and a selection
of Danish pastries
from the private
lawn enclosure on
the riverbank. During
the morning you
will board a river
vessel and enjoy
splendid views of
the river and the
rowing whilst being
served Canard-Duchene
Champagne, Pimms
or Bucks Fizz.
A four course Luncheon
is served in the
spacious hospitality
marquee with fine
wines from Louis
Latour, port and
cognac, coffee,
handmade chocolates
and truffles. This
is followed by a
River Cruise upstream
passing the finish
line and viewing
Henley town centre
before navigating
the Island and turning
to cruise the entire
length of the course,
allowing guests
to take in views
of the Stewards
Enclosure and Temple
Island. A full complimentary
bar is available
throughout the day
both on board and
in the marquee.
Back on dry land
everything that
you would expect
from a quintessential
English Afternoon
Tea will be served
in the marquee or
on the lawns before
departure and the
return to your hotel
for the night. Dine
independently in
the restaurant.
