Thursday 22 May: Early departure by coach for Chelsea Flower Show for 0830 entry. Experience has shown us that this early entry provides an ideal opportunity to view the show gardens without the crowds - there is plenty of time thereafter to enjoy the Flower Marquees and other numerous horticultural delights that can be seen. Andrew McIndoe, designer of the Hillier's Garden, the largest exhibit in the main marquee and an broken run of gold medals since 1945 will be available on the stand in the morning to talk to you about what it is like to create and design a show garden. The day is yours to enjoy for as long as you wish before making your way independently back to the hotel.

Friday 23 May: Departure by coach to Eccleston Square This three acre oasis in central London is an extraordinary example of what can be achieved with imagination, community involvement and an understanding of horticulture led by resident Roger Philips well known author of numerous garden books. He has very kindly agreed to open the garden for you to visit. Then continuing to the Chelsea Physic Garden. Hidden by high walls next to the Thames is one of the world's most important botanic gardens founded in 1673 to train apothecaries' apprentices in 'physic' or the healing arts.
